I think I’ve fallen in love with knitwear. No seriously, I am a woman possessed. I crave it, I dream about it, I’m constantly browsing online retailers adding jumper after jumper to my basket before closing the tab in a hot sweat. I’d say I need help only I don’t want it, I just want a bigger hanging rail to store my ever increasing jumper collection and a bottomless bank account to fund it…
Thankfully, this autumn the babes at Miss Selfridge had my back and asked me to pick out some items for my Autumn wardrobe. Of course the first thing I looked for was knitwear and you guys, I was not disappointed. This jumper was the first thing I simply had to snap up and I couldn’t be happier with it if I tried – I’m in love with the block contrasting colours, and the balloon sleeves have me feeling some kind of way. I never thought of trying out a statement sleeve before but I am 100% here for it and need one in every colour. Well, every neutral colour anyway.
I teamed it with a simple denim skirt – something I’ve wanted for quite some time now. My skirt collection often disappoints me and while I keep meaning to add to it I’m forever distracted by trousers and now jeans. I love this skirt though, super comfortable and super flattering it’s a win win in my opinion. Finally I threw on my brand new babies from The Kooples – I swear these boots are never going to be leaving my feet (and damn right considering how much they cost me) this winter, they’re literally the perfect boot and I really loved the kinda edgy vibe they brought to the outfit. They also have 30% off right now which is super depressing since I bought them at full price so if you want to snap them up, now’s the time!
How else am I going to style this jumper you ask? Well, just you wait – I have a few ideas up my sleeve that I can’t wait to share with you.
