If you are an OG reader of this here blog, you’ve probably heard me mention on more than one occasion that comfort is one of my number one requirements when it comes to a piece of clothing. Now don’t get me wrong, we’re all aware by now that I like the glam looks and to look a little boujee but comfort is still king and if I can get away with wearing a pair of joggers and trainers every day then you can bet your bottom dollar that is exactly what I’ll do.
Earlier in the summer I was talking to Mum about my desire to mature my wardrobe a little bit, but that I didn’t want to move too far away from the kinda sporty vibe that I’ve been embracing the past few years. My love of the comfortable jogger, tee and trainer combination will stay with me probably until the end of time, so she decided to help me find a smarter pair of joggers that I could wear day to day for the sporty vibe but still feel a little more classy and put together in.
Cue these dreamboats from Zara. Made from a super lightweight material they have proven perfect over this heatwave for days when I’ve wanted to avoid getting my legs out, and for inevitable evenings at the pub or out with friends. I’ve teamed them with trainers, Vans, sandals and heels so can confirm they look pretty damn great with almost any style shoe. I decided to team them here with this ringer style tee from Zara that I got for my birthday this year. I really adore this tee – the cotton is so soft and I love that it’s a creamy off-white colour rather than being blindingly white like 90% of the rest of my t-shirt collection.
Finally, to finish the outfit off I threw on my EGO Balenciaga dupes which are quite possibly the most comfortable pair of chunky trainers I own at this stage. Still after a pair of FILA Disruptors though so just watch this space.
