The only thing I brought back from Budapest (and one of the best things about the holiday if we’re entirely honest here) was this amazing Zara sweater.
I hadn’t intended to shop Judge, I swear, but it was raining and we were cold and the bright lights of Zara were shining out at us like a beacon of hope and we fell through the doors and well, the rest as they say, is history.
There were a few things I could have bought in there that day. I mean if we’re honest, I could probably have spent €5000 or more so realistically coming out with nothing but this sweater was a miracle in itself. There were two pairs of shoes I had my eye on, several t-shirts and a jacket – is it me or is Zara on the continent always better than Zara in the UK? Let me know if you agree in the comments below…
ANYWAY, I digress. So the sweater – in actual fact I believe it was Joe that spied it first and told me I needed it in my life and boy was he right. It brought a bit of colour into my wardrobe which we all know is a fairly uncommon occurrence but it’s a muted enough shade of green to not give me heart palpitations so we’re all good there. I was particularly drawn to the sleeves and this awesome tape/band effect. I love the fact that it hangs down quite far from the sleeves – it gives the sweater a playful effect and with it’s oversized loose fit it plays into the unstructured form.
I teamed it with my casual Honour Over Glory sports leggings for this look – this is something that I’d wear round the house all day every day if I could, and into the office for dress down Friday so it’s a very authentic representation of my day to day style. Thrown on with a pair of trainers or in this case Vans and you’re ready to go!
