You know those girls on Instagram who always look perfect? The ones that are super tanned and super fit, who seem to effortlessly put together the most stylish and chic outfits? One of these girls is the absolute mega babe Lorna Luxe, and her ability to seamlessly integrate knitwear and loungewear inspires me on an almost daily basis.
So much so, that this weekend I actually tried to recreate the look myself…
Picture the scene, it was snowing. It was cold, and it was also a Sunday. One of those Sundays where you don’t want to move let alone get dressed and look presentable. We needed to head out into the elements to pick up a few bits from the shops for dinner so warmth was my main priority over looking remotely stylish or chic but as I was getting my usual loungewear out of the wardrobe inspiration struck and I decided to take a leaf out of Lorna’s book and see if I could do something a little more stylish with these items.
I selected one of my favourite jumpers and teamed it with my new joggers from Shein. This jumper is undoubtably a favourite of mine due to the gorgeous oatmeal colour and slightly higher neck – the perfect way to keep the upper body warm and snug. When Shein reached out and asked me to pick something from their site again I went straight to the joggers – you all know I’m a sucker for sportswear and I’ve been after a pair of joggers that are simple and cosy to wear out of the house for a while – the only really comfortable pair I possess are my ride or die satin style joggers from Trend Two and as they’ve definitely seen better days I wanted to find a new pair that I can love just as much to save my old favourites from certain demise.
I teamed this combination with my Adidas Superstars and I was absolutely thrilled with the overall look – stylish and chic (can I get away with calling myself chic?) but ultimately warm and cosy in the colder winter climate.
