You may or may not remember (although if you’ve been familiar with my blog these past weeks chances are you’ve probably seen me mention it once or twice…) but Joe and I have been on two holidays this month. That’s right, two. Despite my aversion to planes I have 100% decided that the jet-set life is for me and I’m thoroughly disappointed that I will not be jetting off anywhere new next week.
Our first stop was to Budapest, where I stumbled across this amazing backdrop while walking along Margaret Island and couldn’t resist shooting against it. The temperatures that day were what could only be described as Baltic, and therefore I had to layer up to some approximation of the Michelin Man in order to stay warm.
My £3 Primark bobble hat definitely came in handy, as did my new favourite oversized Stradivarius jacket which quite literally saved my ass in that weather. The absolute stars of the show for me the whole holiday however were my brand new UGG boots. I was lucky enough to have UGG reach out to me a few months ago and ask me to take part in their winter #FUGGWINTER campaign on Instagram. As part of the campaign I was lucky enough to choose a pair of boots to style up and I couldn’t resist these ankle boots.
They reminded me so much of my old favourite grey UGGS that I had back in the day, only a little shorter in order to give the illusion of longer legs because we all know that I’m a huge short arse. Personally I really loved this outfit – while perhaps not the most flattering I’ve ever taken due to the need for numerous layers to avoid certain hypothermia, it certainly served a purpose and I kinda loved the street vibe to it.
Let me know what you guys think and don’t forget to leave a comment below! Oh and while I’ve got you here, I’m beginning Vlogmas on my channel this week, so if you haven’t already, make sure you head over there and subscribe so you don’t miss a thing!
