Oh hey, hi, hello there. No do not fear, you have not just stepped into some sort of time warp and found yourself back at LJLV circa 2014, but you have found yourself looking at an outfit hugely inspired by that time in my life. See, I’ve been looking at this here blog recently, trawling back through some seriously questionable outfit posts, and reminiscing about my journey with my personal style.
I started this blog when I barely knew my style and seemed to just throw things together with some hope that it would work (it usually didn’t) and then a few months down the line I discovered sports luxe and I flourished. The year I’ve kinda moved away from that in favour of tailoring but my love for all things athleisure has never wained and here you find me covered in mesh, experimenting with texture/layering and showcasing my fave new t-shirt courtesy of Romwe.
Karl Lagerfeld is one of my all time favourite designers. I mean who else can create an entire range in homage to his cat and his face?! Therefore when I saw this ‘Karl is my father’ shirt doing the rounds 12 months or so ago I knew I needed it in my life…just without the designer price tag. Fast forward a year, and online retailer Romwe got in touch with me offering me something from their site. After searching for ages and about a million tabs of things I wanted open on my browser I spied this tee and my mind was made up. It’s now mine and I’m officially worshipping at the altar of Karl (and Romwe).
