At London Edge at the weekend, we were all talking about how our group are so similar but at the same time so different. While we all love everything alternative, we all have our own way of styling ourselves and while some items in our wardrobe may overlap we all wear them very differently. While having this discussion, I was labelled as the sports-luxe one and that is a label I am more than proud to wear.
Long term readers of this blog will remember when I first started to dabble in sports-luxe towards the end of 2014 and while I’ve moved away from it in increments this year it still remains the foundation of my style, my wardrobe, and everything I love about fashion. Following a very epic London Edge after party, I needed something casual yet fashionable to see me through a hungover Monday. While any well intentioned plans I’d made to go to the gym promptly fell out the window, I still had a super productive day brunching, shooting and filming stuff for this blog and my Youtube channel – and I did it all in the perfect outfit.
Heading back to my favoured monochrome roots I teamed my favourite Honour Over Glory (RIP) leggings with this amazing oversized slogan tee from Zara. We all know how much I love a slogan and considering this one is fiction related (flirting is better in books) I don’t think it would be possible to get a better one for me. Obviously would it really be me if I didn’t throw my Missguided blazer over the top? No, no it would not.
