As you may have seen in my latest vlog, last week I was lucky enough to be invited down to Camden Market with my best friend Jess for a day of shopping and exploration. Camden Market has been one of my absolute favourite places in London ever since I first visited over a year ago. Filled to the brim with exciting little stalls and the most surprising finds I love to while away the hours searching for new and quirky items to take home.
My star purchase for the day was actually for Joseph. I stumbled across the Camera Hut UK stall after we’d eaten our weight in halloumi fries and spied a working Canon Super 8 camera. With Joe being such an avid film maker I couldn’t resist grabbing it to take home for him, and the stall owners were so helpful and knowledgeable telling me where I could purchase more film and where we could get it developed.
I also had an amazing time perusing the stalls for new trinkets that I can add to the new flat. I’m hugely inspired by India – both the culture, artwork and food, and one of the things I adore most about Camden Market is the amount of Eastern inspired stores selling everything from artwork and prints, to lanterns and incense, to traditional jewellery.
