First things first, lets confront the elephant in the room – I now have grey hair! No, I haven’t aged 60 years overnight (lol I’m so funny >.<) this has been something I’ve been so damn excited to do since I first started the transition to going lighter earlier in the summer.
I was intending to go white silver, however with a tint that had been put on my hair when I first moved to London it wasn’t possible this time round so we decided to go for this darker iron grey colour for the time being with the intention of trying to go lighter in a few months – although to be quite honest I really like it this colour so we may find it just stays!
I decided to switch up the location a little today and try a shoot indoors for the first time in a while. One of the pros of 60s council blocks in London is the great shoots you can do in their stair wells, and as we had lost the light during the afternoon before we could get the shoot done, we decided to give it a go. It hasn’t quite got the editorial feel I want to try and bring to my blog in the new year, but it does have the grunge feel down!
I adored the outfit I was wearing when this was taken. The weather has finally cooled enough for me to bring out the faux fur once again, and long term readers of this blog will remember it making an appearance every winter in some form or another. The silver skirt has made another appearance too despite being one of the most annoying items in my wardrobe thanks to its penchant for riding up when I walk and spinning round it really is a favourite – teamed with a grungy rock t-shirt and some fishnet tights gave it that slightly rough around the edges look I love so much.
