absent from where one should be but without intent to desert
Forgive me you lovely lot, for I have been a little absent on this blog over the last week. It wasn’t planned, but very much a situation where life just takes over, and although you want to blog and although you feel very guilty that you’re not blogging, there simply isn’t time.
This week, which for those of you who follow me on Snapchat or Instagram you may have already seen, I have been in attendance at the BFI London Film Festival. I’m lucky enough that through dating an actor, we are able to attend and it’s been one hell of an experience so far (although I’m currently writing this from bed on a Monday night where I don’t even have the energy to get up and make the crumpets I bought for dinner and honestly I’m that tired I might be sick).
Since Wednesday last week, we have been at a total of two gala premieres (La La Land starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, and Bleed for This starring Miles Teller and Aaron Eckhart respectively) the first UK screening of one secret film (Sully starring Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhart) and the first UK screening of an incredibly important yet absolutely harrowing documentary called Chasing Asylum which warrants an entire blog post just to itself.
I have a few nights at home now before the craziness ensues again on Friday, and that will allow me to get a little more up to speed on here too. I guess I just wanted to put in an appearance, apologise a little and then go to sleep for a week (joking, kinda).
I hope you’ve all had a brilliant weekend and I can’t wait to catch up 🙂
