Do any of you have friends that are so damn talented that it’s actually a little bit sickening? I swear every time I shoot with Anton of Division Collective he gets that little bit better. If you guys haven’t checked out his blog yet you really really should, he’s jetting off soon to embark on his next exciting adventure and while I’m going to miss him an actual tonne, I’m so stoked to see all the amazing things he’s going to get up to.

And y’know, it totally gives me an excuse to go and visit because duh, why wouldn’t you?!

A couple of weekends ago, I found myself heading out super early to catch the train to Hackney Wick, an area of London I’ve been itching to explore for a while after hearing all of the good things but that I still hadn’t got round to visiting. Admittedly it wasn’t exactly the easiest place to reach (something about the Overground and two different tube lines when the Northern Line is throwing a tantrum really isn’t that appealing) but my God was the hassle worth it.

To be immediately confronted with some absolutely incredible street art (and we all know how much I love a bit of graffiti) and a free diet coke at a bar that technically wasn’t open but served us anyway kinda set us up well for the day. Admittedly we were all battling our inner demons that morning be them in the form of a slight hangover or just sheer tiredness, but that didn’t dull the creative spark and I think Anton managed to capture this outfit in the perfect way.

I’ve got a serious soft spot for these joggers. They were the first pair I ever bought, the first time I broke out of my comfort zone with fashion and at my first ever blogging event too. Since then I have literally worn them to death – they’ve got holes around the ankles and pulls in the fabric but I completely refuse to part with them until they’re literally unwearable, and judging from these photos that’s still some way off yet. They’re super comfortable too, and not to mention probably the most flattering pair of joggers I own making me look skinny, and skimming over the areas of my body I hate the most – here’s looking at you hips.

I teamed them with my trusty Nike Roshe Runs that I picked up aeons ago in London – possibly one of my first trips down here actually, and my favourite Topshop body suit. I can’t believe that a) I haven’t featured it on here yet and b) the summer is nearly over and I’ve worn it a grand total of twice. What in fresh hell is wrong with me?!

I did bring my Topshop bomber jacket with me but the weather was pretty glorious all day so its services remained unnecessary although I did don it for one photo cos y’know, I’m all cool and blogger and stuff. (I don’t know what I’m on about either)

Have you got an area of your city that you’re excited to explore? Let me know in the comments below!
