It is no secret to any long term readers of LJLV that I love music. It has shaped me as a person from a very early age when I used to make up dance routines in the car with Mum, from being brought up listening to artists like Adam Ant, to the time when I began to form my own music taste listening to bands such as Green Day, Blink-182 and Bowling for Soup.
While my friends might not always 100% enjoy my music taste – I’m still trying to convince them how great The 1975 are – one thing is definitely certain, our getting ready playlist is one of the most important parts of our night out. We might all live in London, but we’re still pretty spread out and sometimes it’s just not possible to get ready all together. While FaceTime is great, someone in the group is still left getting ready on their own – hardly the perfect start to your girls night!
When Airtime got in touch with me and asked me to share my perfect getting ready playlist with them I was intrigued – I like to think I’m pretty well up on music apps, however this is one that had completely escaped my radar, and one that has now completely revolutionised my getting ready process! Now I can share my getting ready playlist with all the girls no matter where we are – it is compatible with your Spotify account too, so no more wasting precious make-up application time by having to search for that perfect song! It also gives you the opportunity to watch videos together while you’re chatting – perfect for creating those pre-club dance routines that you will totally (might, maybe) perform later… (It’s not just me that does that right?!)
And do you want to know what’s best of all? It is totally, and completely free! To learn more about Airtime, click here.
