Ahh New Year’s Eve is beckoning, and true to form I have been stressing out like nobodies business about what on earth to wear.See most New Years I either haven’t done anything at all, or it’s been a relatively chilled out affair, however this year I will be spending my New Years Eve in London with Michael and well, I want to make sure I look pretty damn hot.
Cue Frock and Frill to the rescue! Their stunning collection of 1920’s inspired dresses left me feeling all kinds of Gatsby, so when they very kindly offered to send me one I (of course) jumped at the chance! Not only will I be heading out on New Years Eve feeling like a million dollars, I will also be baring a striking resemblance to my beautiful Grandmother who grew up in the 20’s and was all about this kind of fashion – sadly she’s no longer with us, so to be able to have her as my style inspiration leading into 2016 shows me that it really is going to be a very special year!
I absolutely adore everything about this dress – I’ll admit to begin with I wasn’t sure about the length as I’m so short I tend to only wear dresses and skirts above the knee so that people can see I do in fact have legs, but I really like the way this one sits and the fit is beautiful – it clings in all the right places and skims my curves in a very flattering way. I still can’t get over the attention to detail either, with thousands of beautiful beads and sequins adorning every inch of it, it truly is a stand out piece!
