I’m currently wrapped in a blanket on my sofa in a haze of post-fashion week exhaustion and reflecting on the reality of not having had a proper night’s sleep since last Tuesday night. I had the absolute best time though, and you’ll be able to catch up on it all on this here blog over the next 7 days.
Now I have an exciting week of events and working away ahead of me before things start to calm down a little bit before I dash back off to London. Rewind a few weeks however and you’d find me in Manchester with my friend Tom, spending the day shooting and eating cheeseburger toasties (basically the best things you’ll ever eat in your whole life) and these photos were the results.
I’m forever annoyed at the way this skort photographs. Honestly, in person it fits me so nicely and is SO flattering, yet the minute I take a camera anywhere near it, it bunches up, emphasises my sizeable behind and before you know it I’m weeping into my Fanta Lemon while vehemently exclaiming that I do NOT look like Kim K (not that there’s anything wrong with that, if it’s your thing). This t-shirt on the other hand is all kinds of oatmeal coloured goodness. With a cheeky slogan (we all know how much I love a slogan) echoing my frustrations every morning when I open my wardrobe ‘I have nothing to wear‘, I figured it basically summed me up in a sentence. Perfect.
Anyone else have an item of clothing in their wardrobe that just don’t photograph well? Or is it just me?
