Missy Empire Black Jumpsuit

I know, I know, I fall in love with items of clothing far too easily. You’re probably all sat there right now shaking your head like ‘GOD Lj, you’re so fickle!’ (there was almost a very unfortunate spelling mistake there, but I’ll leave it to your imaginations) but I promise you this love affair is a very real thing, and it’s not ending any time soon.

You know those items you see online and you know you must have them. Like now. Well this jumpsuit from Missy Empire was one of those. I saw it and fell in love and counted down the days until it landed through my letterbox, which took slightly longer than anticipated since muggins here typed in the wrong address, but when the parcel finally fell into my hands and I slipped this little beauty on, I got all the fireworks and crashing waves and everything else you’re supposed to get when you fall in love.

Ok, slight exaggeration but shhh.

Made from the softest jersey material known to man, it clings in all the right places whilst casually managing to skim over the cookie pouch I’ve developed since discovering the office biscuit tin, and not only does it cover the tattoos I dislike on my legs, the sexy little slit up the side means that I still manage to keep cool even in the warmest of weather.

Did I mention the sexy little leg slits? Not only are they great for creating a cheeky breeze in the leg area, but they also take a casual jumpsuit and turn it into the perfect day to night piece. The slits add an unexpected element to the jumpsuit, making it dressy and sophisticated and perfect paired with some chic heels for a night on the tiles. I’ve worn this into town during the day, for cheesecake in the afternoon and to my favourite winebar in the evening, as well as to a work meal and not once have I felt out of place or under-dressed.

Winner winner, chicken dinner.

Yep, I love this jumpsuit too. Actually if it wasn't black (I've banned myself from buying anything black) I would probably be buying it right about now. You look great

This jumpsuit is amazing! I wear black 90% of the time which can be a little warm in summer but these lovely leg slits are perfect for staying and looking

That's the exact issue I have – every item in my wardrobe pretty much is black which is great especially in winter, but in summer not so much! xo

Yes I can agree that the jumpsuit is very nice and sounds practical too, but what I liked most about this post was your writing! I've never visited your blog before, so it was a nice surprise to discover the humor which you write with! I really enjoyed reading your post, and I will be checking back just to have myself another chuckle! :)//Sara
