Manchester Northern Quarter

I had a lovely little mid-week day off last week, and since the lovely chaps over at Artisan decided to give me a VIP meal in return for the blog post I wrote about them a few weeks ago (not a sponsor deal btw, I reviewed the restaurant off my own back and they very kindly gave me the meal in return!) I decided that it was about time I introduced my friend Ed to their fabulous menu!

Decidedly stuffed, we headed into the Northern Quarter for a little explore (after also hitting an art gallery which I stupidly didn’t film…good work!!) and ended up in my new favourite coffee house, Foundation. Not only is their coffee to die for but they have an amazing selection of healthy cakes and savoury food as well as soft drinks. We rocked up just as  they were preparing for what looked like a blogger event and I was very jealous to see the goodie bags had actual plants in them! Love a good plant.

We left Foundation and accidentally stumbled onto a film set (which I wasn’t allowed to film) before heading into Whiskey Jar where I eventually stopped filming and we met friends.

Let me know if you enjoy these videos – I really love filming and editing them and it’s giving me a great excuse to explore my new city, and don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel to see more!
