We all have our strengths and weaknesses.
For example, I’m really great at choosing good birthday presents (a trait which was confirmed once again this weekend with an absolutely spot on purchase for a close friend), I like to think I give good advice, and I’m a nice person.
One strength I do not have however, is the ability to coordinate an office of 30 twenty somethings to take a photo on our lunchbreak. #lunchtimefail
When Travel Supermarket got in touch with me about showing them my ultimate Lunch Break Holiday in my local sunny spots, I of course jumped at the chance. Particularly when winning lunch for a month was mentioned – who wouldn’t want that? Free food is of course, the best kind and I’m sure that you’ll all agree.
I do however, live in Manchester. A city that is possibly one of the rainiest in the UK and as lunchtime rolled around each day, the rain continued to come down and we continued to be confined to the office.
This weekend however, I made the trip home. A mini holiday if you will, and I figured what better way to show my ultimate Lunch Break Holiday, then document a lunch time at home?! Although the sun still failed to shine, I was joined by my ultimate lunch partner Ted, and the two of us played Frisbee and catch until the rain came down so hard we were forced to surrender our game and return to the shelter of the house, but not before the two of us were sufficiently tired out and covered in mud.
A lunch time well spent, I’m sure you’d agree, and definitely what I needed to get this week off to the best start!
What would be your ultimate #LunchBreakHolilday?!
