I had such a laugh taking these photos. Whenever Holly shoots me, it’s basically guaranteed the whole thing will descend into chaos within about 10 seconds flat and this time was no exception. Between falling off my heels, quoting Little Britain (if you haven’t watched it, go on YouTube NOW), accidentally getting my bag trapped around Holly’s legs and definitely scaring several passersby, it was quite eventful and I definitely cried laughing at least twice. But I love the results.
I mean for one thing she’s made me look tall for like the first time ever.
So there’s that.
Secondly I love the setting. I love my city, and the closer I get to moving away the more I’m starting to appreciate it and see it as a stranger perhaps would. The quirky little restaurants, the Roman architecture, the green spaces, the cobbled streets, the resident buskers I’ve seen every day since I was a child. I may have outgrown it, but it will always be home and I can’t wait for the days when I get to visit again with fresh eyes and a new perspective. I’m at such a turning point in my life now, I’m so excited for it to begin but I’m terrified too – taking such a huge leap into the unknown is going to be the thing that really helps me to grow into the person I know that I am inside and can be, I just need to give myself the chance. And hell I can’t wait for this blog to mature alongside me. I have so much content and so many ideas rattling around in my head that are just waiting for the opportunity to become reality, I just hope you guys stick with me while I’m getting myself settled!
