I swear for the first time in (almost) 23 years I’m actually enjoying my
life. I’m enjoying my job, I love my friends, I actually have a social
life for the first time in a long time and I’m experiencing things. I’m
doing things that young 20 something’s should be doing. Hell I’m
drinking alcohol. Me, drinking. The hobbit girl who gets drunk after one
vodka and coke spent most of this weekend drinking red wine and
prosecco with someone pretty damn great. I mean I don’t want to jinx it
or anything, but I really hope this continues.
Onto the outfit – I was back to Liverpool this weekend and so therefore it made sense that I drag Chris back to the area we shot in last week because urban backdrops will forever be my favourites. This time, we found a deserted side street by the docks full of broken down buildings and this great old sign which I just had to pose against because reasons (I don’t know either). I’d braved the vintage jacket again after it being relegated to my wardrobe for months because I just wasn’t sure, and it’s safe to say it’s now my new favourite thing again. I’m so very fickle. The leather shorts from Boohoo are one of my star purchases of the year so far, I’d wanted a pair for so bloody long that finally getting my hands on some felt like a cause for celebration. I didn’t throw a party, that would just be weird, but instead I’m going to feature them on here so often you’ll probably get sick of them. Hell so will I. But it will be so worth it. This cute little tank top from Urban Outfitters finished off the outfit, helping to break up the black and keeping things edgy.
Yes I just described my outfit as edgy, I have no regrets.
