So I have done what I never thought would be possible. I have fallen victim to the floordrobe. I used to be one of those really annoying people that makes their bed every morning without fail and hangs their clothes up after wearing them no matter how drunk they are. The last couple of weeks however the clothes have been left where they fall after I get in from work, shedding them everywhere in a trail of chaos throughout my room. I think it’s just got to that time of year when I’m so tired from being in the office all day and I know that Christmas is just around the corner with two blissful weeks off so I’ve just given up caring.
I couldn’t for the life of me think what to style these gorgeous Leggsington joggers with, as I didn’t want to go down the predictable crop top route seeing as it’s all I seem to wear at the moment despite the Arctic temperatures outside (a “perk” of living up North). After routing through said floordrobe however, I came across this simple t-shirt from Boohoo and figured that wearing it casually knotted at the waist would compliment the loose and comfortable fit of the trousers, which were the second pair very kindly gifted to me by the brilliant Leggsington.
I think it actually creates a really interesting silhouette, drawing it in so tightly at the wait emphasises the curves of my hips and actually makes a quite androgynous look a lot more feminine. Teamed of course with my trusty Topshop court shoes and the whole outfit suddenly becomes much more ‘dressy’ and suitable for evening drinks or even a meal out if you’re brave enough to risk the food baby scenario with a bare midriff. Unfortunately I’m just not that guy.
