I feel like I’ve been starting a few posts recently with apologies, which I suppose is never a good thing. This post is beginning with an apology for the lack of content over the last couple of days, Friday night was of course, Halloween and therefore I decided to take a night off to enjoy myself, only I enjoyed myself a little too much and spent most of yesterday feeling sorry for myself while lying on the sofa, but it was totally worth it.
I’m not entirely sure if it’s the nights getting darker, or some other weird force at work but I am SO tired at the moment. It’s 5pm as I write this and I’m genuinely ready for bed and could happily sleep until tomorrow morning, so if anyone has any suggestions for injecting a little more energy into my life, please let me know in the comments!
This week is super, super busy for me! My replacement at work starts tomorrow so I will finally be in my promoted marketing role which is so exciting, but does mean I will be training my replacement all week which will be fun but tiring. I’m also heading off to London again on Friday which I’m so stoked for – staying with my best friend and getting to see an old friend from uni as well makes for an exciting weekend, plus plenty of shopping and a night out on Saturday is giving me lots to look forward to.
Aims for the week ahead?
1) Lots of exercise again in the hopes it will give me a little more energy and also help to counteract all the cake I have been eating recently.
2) Pack for London on Wednesday, NOT the night before/evening I go like last time.
3) Get more sleep!
