SUNDAY POST #4

UK Fashion Blogger

Ok so can someone please tell me how on earth I've been doing these weekly Sunday posts for a month already?!

Today's post comes to you from Joseph's bed, where I am a shadow of my former self. We attended a beautiful wedding yesterday and as the absolute trooper that I am, I managed a grand total of 13 hours in heels. Today however, I am paying for it. I'm full of cold and I ache all over and aside from a trip up the road to get some naughty food for this afternoon/evening, I haven't moved.

I do need to get up soon and get dressed to meet Joseph by Southbank and shoot some blog photos, however I don't know if I actually have the energy. What do you guys normally do to motivate yourselves to shoot when you really don't feel like it? Answers on a postcard please.

This week is set to be another hugely busy one - basically the entirety of October is going to be nothing short of crazy and I don't think we have even one day when one of the two of us doesn't have something on whether it be work related or just for fun.

On Wednesday we're going to the theatre to see A Comedy About a Bank Robbery, and then on Thursday the BFI Film Festival begins. Due to Joseph's job, we're lucky enough to be attending roughly six premieres over the course of the festival which I'm so excited for - I would like to try and vlog the red carpet if I get chance but I'm not entirely sure it's allowed. It will be on my instagram story however, so make sure you're following me - '@lucy_jlove'

I'm going to leave it there for today - I don't think I have the energy to write anything else and I'd quite like to watch another episode of PLL before I have to get ready. I enjoy writing these reflective posts though, I feel like they'll be nice to look back on in a few months time and remember the things I've done.

What did you get up to this week?

  1. I hope you feel better soon lovely! I write a similar post on my blog every Sunday - it's nice to reflect on the past week and what's ahead isn't it! x

    1. Thank you doll! It really is, I like to be able to look back and see what I've been up to and all the plans I've had too. I used to do something similar to this when I first started blogging and I found when I looked back through my old posts that I really missed it. xo

    1. Hahahaha thank you! I felt like one as well, although my legs and ankles haven't quite been the same since. I'm not sure it's something I'd repeat! xox
