PINK SKIES

I've fangirled before about getting my photos taken by some incredible individuals for this blog, and I feel the need to do it again. JUST LOOK HOW PERFECT THESE ARE!

I headed off to the Science Museum a couple of weekends ago with my good friend Alex and her boyfriend Adam, who was a saint while taking these shots for me in the pouring rain with a waiter from the local Italian throwing up a few feet away. The things we do for a good location eh guys? He also shot this post for me a while back, so y'know, he's basically a genius.

ANYWAY it was warm but one of those days when you can just tell the weathers going to change and I wanted to be comfortable for mooching around the museum so I decided to throw on this sweatshirt and go with the flow. Fun fact: I bought this sweater when I first became obsessed with Made in Chelsea many moons ago simply because Caggie wore one a little like it with a denim jacket, and I wanted to wear one with a denim jacket.

"Cady Heron wore army pants with flip flops, so I bought army pants and flip flops"

Clearly the rest of my outfit had to be black because duh, this is me that we're talking about here, and because I may have put on a little bit of weight recently (here's looking at you bombay mix binges) I threw on these old faithful high waisted Topshop leggings. They basically suck everything in and keep it all in the right place while still looking (kinda) stylish. My favourite River Island beanie came out of the wardrobe for the first time since chopping all my hair off earlier this year which turned out to be a great decision because the English summer lived up to its reputation and basically all. the. rain happened and I teamed the whole ensemble with my River Island boots which basically will forever remain my best sale purchase ever.

All together I felt pretty good. I mean I'm the shortest person ever and adding a bit of height always makes me feel better but honestly this sweater is just so cosy, and so comforting to wear that it was the perfect choice for a day out - incidentally we ended up watching the most incredible documentary at the Science Museum iMax about space and I was so snuggly I could have almost fallen asleep.

Finally, any long term readers of this blog will probably remember the white Urban Outfitters backpack that I was essentially surgically attached to for most of 2014/2015 - well this is just a heads up that this new Topshop backpack is essentially going to be the same so soz. But not soz.

I very nearly bought that backpack but I'd just bought 2 black backpacks and thought I couldn't really justify it. #regrets

    1. Thank you lovely :)
You should totally go and get it anyway, a girl can never have too many black backpacks - it's the same as black boots. I have about 8 pairs that are essentially identical!
