LOST SOULS

Not only is he getting pretty handy with the camera, Michael has turned into a pretty fabby location scout these last few months so I have him to thank entirely for this awesome piece of graffiti featuring P I Z Z A. I mean it doesn't get much better than that right guys?!

Really this post is all about this uhhh-mazing skirt from H&M which I'm totally going to talk about in a minute but first of all I wanted to draw your attention to two things:
  1. My Matty coat has made a reappearance and I just wanted to reiterate my point from a few days ago - this coat is THE BEST THING EVER. Like I'm not even kidding it's so warm and furry inside and generally snuggly and perfect for spring in London. I cannot recommend it more AND it was only like £60 or something so I mean for a coat you've got a pretty good deal there.
  2. I've not worn these boots on the blog before and I don't know why because they're the greatest things ever and also the only things I've ever bought on Black Friday so there's that. I got these Warehouse beauties for £50 inc delivery down from £70+ and just heart eyes all up in here
When I went to the Trafford Centre at the start of the month (lol where has March gone btw?!) I tried to only get stuff that I really, really needed but despite having a wardrobe full of black clothes I couldn't resist getting a few more...

This stunning skirt was one of the first things to make its way into my possession, it was literally love at first sight and I couldn't resist buying it despite having a billion and one other black leather things already at home. I think it's fairly obvious to tell when you first see it, what initially drew me to it. The stunning baroque-esque embellishments ooze sophistication and allow me to finally feel like I can embrace patterned skirts without them clashing horrifically with my thigh tattoos. I also like how subtle the pattern is too - although it's noticeable from close up, from a distance it seems like a normal black skirt and I kinda like that. A lot.

I also attempted the whole layering thing (badly) again by throwing this thin cotton cropped hoodie top thing from H&M over my new Topshop mesh t-shirt - I still can't decide if this was overkill with the jacket or not. I mean I was toasty and cosy but on the tube I actually thought I was going to cook. I still haven't got to grips with dressing for the London transport system yet. I live in hope.

PS: Can you tell we got drenched mid-shoot? :')
