NORTHERN QUARTER EXCURSIONS AND THE NEED FOR GRAFFITI

Manchester Fashion Blogger
I'm currently embroiled in a serious hormonal binge eating episode. I know, so attractive right, but BT are pushing me over the edge and therefore I must and will have sugar.

I almost didn't blog tonight, but I didn't want my new found Monday-Thursday blog routine to fall at the first hurdle so here I am, and honestly now I've stopped having a tantrum (and emailed the CEO of BT because y'know, power of the internet and all that) I'm feeling a little better and kinda ready to take on the world. Or at least type out a few hundred words because words heal and all that jazz.

Poor little me routine done.

This outfit was actually what I chose for my excursion to Filthy Cow the first weekend I arrived in Manchester, and it turned out to be perfect not only for hiding the inevitable food baby that followed but also for exploring round the Northern Quarter in search of new locations to shoot in. I figured for my first Manchester shoot, I'd pick a token graffiti wall to pose in front of cos y'know aesthetics and all.

Also please can we draw attention to two things: 1) I'M NOT WEARING THE BEANIE! THAT'S TWO BLOG POSTS IN A ROW WITHOUT IT WHAT IS HAPPENING?! 2) My hair. I finally managed the half up half down hair style which apparently is the easiest thing in the world but I have been unable to do since like forever.

Loose fitting tops, bomber jackets and my cleated boots are literally heaven for me right now. Comfortable, stylish and with the ability to hide a multitude of sins I kinda feel like I've been living in them since I've moved. What are your go-to outfit choices?

Now I want to go and eat toast.
Please can someone stop me with the food?!

  1. This style is totally me. I do love a good not-too-fit-not-to-loose tee. It feels like all you ever need sometimes. I have go to outfits based on my moods, which range from minimal to bohemian. Wow, I just sounded super moody, haha. Anyway! If I feel minimal, I have a few loose-ish tees that I love to wear with dark or distressed skinnies. Bohemian: boots, my summer maxi skirt, and a nice tank.

I hope your stress is lower soon. Good luck!

    1. No you don't sound moody at all I totally get it! Although mine tend to range from comfortable and grungey to high powered city girl depending on my mood and where I'm planning on hanging out :) I'm trying to smarten up my style a lot at the moment and dress a little more my age so I'm quite excited to see how it will change :) xo
