WHAT I WORE - LET IT BE

I honestly don't know how long I spent trying to get these shots this weekend. I swear every time the shutter was about to be pressed someone either walked into shot or a car tried to run me over, so the short and short of it is that I spent more time high tailing it back to the pavement to avoid becoming roadkill than I actually did getting decent shots of the outfit.

I threw on the denim jacket as I left the house as it was just too cold without - I think Chester missed out on the unseasonably warm Halloween weather - but didn't quite realise how long it was, giving me the ever so suave 'I'm not wearing any clothes under this jacket' look. Not quite what I was aiming for.

I did in fact have my beloved grid print Topshop shirt under said jacket. I realised I hadn't worn it for a while and I was super tired so I wanted to do the whole looking smart while feeling uber comfortable thing, so it's slouchy fit was perfect in my fragile state. I decided to wear it a little differently for a change and pair it with some shorts which I hadn't done before, so I threw on my old burgundy Topshop ones again to inject a little grunge into the ensemble. Finally, my Creepers finished off the look - although not to everyone's taste I genuinely think they're the comfiest shoes I possess.

How has everyone's Monday been?

  7. This outfit is amazing! Love the shirt and shorts combo and I hate taking outfit pictures in public, hence why I rarely do 'what I wore' posts haha.
