Saturday Selection 1.0

Saturday Selection 1.0

A quick Saturday Selection for you this week. I wanted to choose items that I would wear to the local pub or wine bar for drinks with friends on a summer evening. I have been looking for the perfect white summer dress for a while now and this beauty from Tory Burch would be perfect, combined with the staple floppy black hat - a favourite amongst all bloggers this summer - super comfy Jeffrey Campbell slides and black accessories. I would finally finish this outfit off with a classic red lip, to add an edgy splash of colour to an otherwise monochrome look for summer.

ROBBERS ft BANK//RUNWAY//ZARA//URBANOUTFITTERS

Top: RUNWAY Bralette: Urban Outfitters Trousers: Bank Shoes: Zara Necklace: RUNWAY

So remember in my last post I mentioned my shopping trip that began with me spending nothing and ended in £50 of loveliness? Well, these trousers were the main culprit of my spending that day - I saw them in Bank for £18 and fell in love. I've seen a lot of similar pairs around in shops such as Topshop for a much higher price, but these are so comfy and of such good quality that I wouldn't swap them for the world - definitely a new favourite!

I've also been waiting a long time to wear this cropped top which I got in October last year from a small but stunning boutique in Alderley Edge. I finally teamed it with my Urban Outfitters bralette (yay for a bralette that flatters small boobs!) and my absolute favourite shoes from Zara.

I think this look would be perfect for early drinks on a hot summers night, or teamed with a slightly longer top for a shopping trip during the day. I can guarantee though, that no matter the occasion you will be seeing a LOT more of those trousers!!

FESTIVAL FEVER ft: TOPSHOP / NEW LOOK

So, this weekend I swore I wouldn't spend money. Ha, I know right?! A ridiculous notion from the very beginning, but I tried my very best. Honest. Anyway I met an old friend from work, and before then I'd spent nothing, but 20 minutes in her company I was £50 worse off.

I did however bag myself this gorgeous top from Topshop that I fell in love with immediately. It has that perfect summer festival vibe and I just loved the ombre tassels along the base of the shirt. It gives it a cool, crop top feel with just that extra bit of cover. Perfect for those super hot days when you're not feeling your most confident with your midriff.

I teamed it with these super mini shorts I got from Topshop last summer, my favourite sunglasses and my gorgeous wedges that I bought for last year's little jaunt to Egypt.

I thought I'd keep my first post nice and brief, hope you're all having fun in the sun.

Ciao xox
